Problem → approach → result
How we found the bottleneck, designed around the real workflow, and launched something people use every day.
The problem
The problem
Shipment bookings, container details, vendor costs, and customer pricing were tracked across separate spreadsheets, making margins hard to see and access hard to control between teams.
Our approach
Our approach
We mapped how domestic, export, operations, and costing teams actually work, then defined clear role-based permissions so each team sees and edits only what it owns.
What we built
What we built
A Next.js dashboard on a Bun + Elysia API with PostgreSQL, covering master data (customers, vendors, ports, vessels), shipments with containers and attachments, costings, sellings, and analytics, with access enforced per role and shipment type.
The outcome
One source of truth for every shipment from booking to margin, with management analytics and access controls replacing scattered spreadsheets.
